What We Actually Do
Not every bouquet needs to be extravagant. Sometimes what matters is getting the color balance right or choosing blooms that last through a week of hospital visits. We've spent years understanding how different flowers work together and what they mean to people in real situations.
Personal Consultation
We spend time understanding what you need, not rushing you through a catalog. Sometimes people come in knowing exactly what they want – other times they just know it needs to feel right. Both work fine with us.
- Detailed discussion about recipient preferences and occasion context
- Color palette selection based on your actual environment or event theme
- Budget planning that focuses on impact rather than stem count
- Seasonal availability explanation and suitable alternatives
Custom Design
This is where your input meets our experience with what actually works in practice. We've learned which combinations stay fresh longer, which flowers open predictably, and how to balance visual weight in ways that photographs well and lives well.
- Individual stem selection for texture and longevity matching
- Proportional arrangement tailored to delivery location space
- Color theory application for mood and setting appropriateness
- Care instruction specific to your chosen combination
Event Arrangements
When you need multiple pieces that work together across a venue, the approach changes. We're coordinating bloom timing so everything peaks together, calculating quantities that make sense for your space, and building in contingencies for the weather or venue temperature.
- Site assessment for lighting and temperature considerations
- Timeline coordination with other vendors and venue logistics
- Backup planning for seasonal availability fluctuations
- Setup and breakdown with venue requirement compliance
Subscription Service
For offices or homes that want regular fresh arrangements, we adjust week by week based on what's actually performing well at market. You're not locked into identical bouquets – we adapt to seasonal changes and occasionally surprise you when something exceptional comes through.
- Weekly or bi-weekly delivery with flexible scheduling adjustments
- Rotating designs that reflect current seasonal availability
- Preference tracking for colors and styles that worked well previously
- Easy pause or modification system for holidays and travel periods
How We Build Arrangements That Last
The technical side matters more than most people realize. A bouquet that looks stunning for three hours at pickup but wilts by evening doesn't serve anyone well. We've spent years learning which flower combinations extend vase life, how stem cuts affect water uptake, and which conditioning methods actually make a difference.
Every stem gets individual attention before it goes into your arrangement. Some flowers need their stems split, others need certain leaves removed, and timing matters – roses cut too early won't open properly, while lilies cut too late drop pollen everywhere.
Our Process Standards
- Individual stem conditioning based on flower type
- Water pH testing and adjustment for longevity
- Temperature-controlled storage until delivery
- Bloom stage selection for your timing needs
- Compatible flower pairing for extended freshness
- Proper vessel selection for arrangement stability
We source from local growers when possible, which means dealing with natural variations in supply. Sometimes that limits options, but it also means flowers spend less time in transit and more time staying fresh in your space. When we need to bring in specialty blooms from further away, we're upfront about the tradeoffs in cost and longevity.
From First Contact to Final Delivery
We keep things straightforward. You tell us what you need, we figure out the best way to make it happen with the flowers available, and we deliver it looking the way we promised. No complicated approval processes or endless revision rounds – just clear communication about what's realistic.
Initial Discussion
We talk through occasion, recipient preferences, delivery details, and budget parameters. Takes about fifteen minutes by phone or thirty minutes in person if you want to see flower samples. We ask specific questions about setting and timing because those factors affect design choices significantly.
Design Planning
Based on your input and current inventory, we propose a specific flower combination with explanation of why those choices work for your situation. If something you requested isn't available or won't perform well in your timeframe, we suggest alternatives with honest reasoning. You approve or we adjust until it feels right.
Creation and Delivery
We build your arrangement within 24 hours of delivery to ensure maximum freshness. Each piece gets photographed before leaving our workspace so you know exactly what was sent. Delivery includes placement instructions and care guidelines specific to the flowers you're receiving. If there's an issue, you contact us immediately and we address it.
I needed something for my mother's hospital room that wouldn't trigger her allergies but still felt special. They suggested an arrangement with low-pollen varieties I'd never heard of, explained which flowers would last longest in that environment, and delivered something that looked expensive but fit my budget. She kept those flowers for nearly two weeks, which meant a lot during recovery.
